1" Female BSP Fusion Welded Socket

If you need your tank's standard outlet in a different position or require additional inlets or outlets, fusion welded sockets can be added for an additional cost. Fusion welding allows us to modify an “off the shelf” tank with either extra inlets and/or outlets without needing to create an entirely bespoke tank.

Ordering a tank with fusion welds is a simple process. Simply contact us via email and let us know what particular tank and fusion welds you are interested in. Our team will be back in contact with a diagram of your tank and a full quotation. From there, all you need to do is mark on the diagram where each extra outlet or inlet should be placed, with measurements from the two closest edges – then send this back to us and make payment.

Each additional socket is made from durable MDPE, the exact same material the tank walls are constructed from.
The sockets are available in the following sizes:

• ½ inch BSP Female
• ¾ inch BSP Female
• 1 inch BSP Female
• 1 ¼ inch BSP Female
• 1 ½ inch BSP Female

Please note that smaller size tanks may not be able to accommodate larger fusion welds. Round tanks also have fewer options available due to the curvature of their walls—please see the table below for more information.
