Our 1000 Litre New Combi Pallet IBC is manufactured with a new inner bottle, galvanised steel frame, lid and S60x6 valve and also comes with factory fit tamper-evident seals for peace of mind.
As this is a UN approved product it has been manufactured to the highest of standards and has passed legal regulations, which aim to avoid accidental spillage. This IBC can store mundane fluids but is also certified to store hazardous goods, flammable and corrosive liquids.
The inner bottle of this container is manufactured from blow moulded high-density polyethylene (HPDE) with bevelled edges. This IBC is food safe and BPA free, making it suitable for storing liquids for human consumption including drinking water, milk, alcohol, and oils.
What is a Combi Pallet?
A combi pallet combines the advantages of a stable, galvanised sheet steel surface and frame, with the high resilience of full plastic feet. This provides a low weight pallet but with a high load-bearing capacity.
How do I connect a hose?
Connecting a hose to one of our IBCs is an easy task. If you are using a hose with a push-fit connection, then our 12.5mm Hozelock adaptor would be all you would need to bridge the gap between your IBC and hose. If your hose is pressure fit or held in place with a clip, then our hose barb adaptors will allow you to link the two together.
What is an IBC?
Intermediate bulk containers (IBC) or “Water Cubes” as they are sometimes known, are reusable industrial containers, designed for the safe transportation and storage of bulk liquids. They are stackable containers, mounted on a pallet that is designed to be moved using a forklift or pallet jack.
The tubular galvanised steel frame around the container guarantees utmost stability. This also fits perfectly into the grooves of a plastic pallet; both below and above the container which enables an exact positioning and problem-free stacking.
