What is a reconditioned IBC?
Despite being reconditioned you can be sure they are still manufactured from high-density polyethylene plastic and come with a fully galvanised outer cage. You may find the plastic or outer cage has imperfections or signs of rust.
What is an IBC?
Intermediate bulk containers (IBC) are reusable industrial containers, which are designed for the safe transportation and storage of bulk liquids. They are stackable containers, mounted on a pallet that is designed to be moved using a forklift or pallet jack.
The tubular galvanised steel frame around the container guarantees utmost stability. This also fits perfectly into the grooves of a plastic pallet; both below and above the container which enables an exact positioning and problem-free stacking.
Although these IBCs have been professionally cleaned, they could have previously contained any type of liquid or chemicals, and traces of this liquid could still remain in the bottle.
Therefore, they cannot be used to store liquids or any products that are consumed by animals and humans. If you have any questions or concerns, please contact our team, who are more than happy to assist.
