The 2450 Litre Horizontal Bunded Oil Tank delivers reliable, environmentally responsible storage for industrial liquids through its advanced double-wall construction. Manufactured in Britain using high-grade UV-resistant polymer, this robust storage solution maintains its structural integrity in all weather conditions.

The tank's bunded design incorporates a primary inner tank housed within a secondary containment vessel. This dual-layer configuration ensures that if the inner tank develops a fault, the outer chamber safely contains 110% of the stored liquid, preventing ground contamination and costly environmental clean-up operations.

Built to exceed current safety standards, the tank features a secure lockable lid and meets all CE and Environment Agency requirements. The 12-year warranty provides complete peace of mind when installed and annually inspected by an OFTEC Approved Engineer. Installation requires a solid base extending 300mm beyond the tank's footprint, and must be carried out by an OFTEC registered professional in accordance with current regulations.

Compliance

This tank complies with OFTEC requirements, Oil Pollution Prevention Guidelines (England & Wales) 2002 PPG2 and carries CE approval (The CE number is present on the tank).  As a result, this tank complies with current environmental standards.

Delivery

As standard, delivery will be made within 1 week (subject to stock availability). Next day delivery is available if ordered by 11am.

Delivery will be made with either a tail lift or HIAB (depending on the location), so no offloading is required for delivery.

If there is restricted access at your location, we are able to arrange delivery using specific vehicles designed for areas with, for example, low bridges or narrow access roads. Please call our sales team to discuss your requirements.

Optional Extras

Fitting / Filter Kits

Filter kits include a valve, allowing you to isolate the tank (ideal during servicing), and run the oil through a filter, preventing dust, dirt or other solids from feeding into your boiler.

• Economy filter kit: A simple kit fitted with rubber seals.
• Advanced filter kit: Made in the UK, fitted with Viton seals. The valve is fitted prior to the filter, so you can isolate in case of filter damage.

Clock Gauge

Simple and reliable, the clock fuel level gauge provides a visual guide to the level of your tank and is located within the lockable manhole lid.

Our best selling tank contents gauge is considered to be the industry standard remote level gauge which comprises of a tank mounted transmitter unit and a plug in receiver unit.

The transmitter monitors the level of fuel inside the tank and relays this data via a secure, wireless connection to the receiver unit, which cleverly and conveniently plugs into a standard UK electrical socket.
